How to spot the Subaru Forester’s black forest gateaux
Posted On July 20, 2021
Subaru has been building out a black forest for a few years now, but it wasn’t until last week that the company released the official video for the concept car’s teaser.
The video features the Subaru logo and an all-black look with the forest being the only visible portion.
The Subaru Foresters black forest is actually a massive black forest that extends from the front bumper all the way to the trunk.
The car’s front fascia is painted in a dark black and the side skirts have an orange tint, while the rear bumper and side skirts are black.
The headlights have an all black design with the rear lights coming in a bright orange.
The Subaru logo is also painted in black with the rest of the Subaru branding in a greyish hue.
Subaru has already released a teaser for the Forester, but the video doesn’t reveal much about the car.
There’s no word on whether the Foresters color scheme is a nod to the Subaru color scheme or a reference to the Forests other color schemes.
This Subaru Forest is also the first Subaru Forerunner to be unveiled at the 2018 Tokyo Motor Show, so we’ll have to wait and see if the car will make it into the showroom.
The company will be presenting a limited edition version of the Forest at the show, but no release date has been announced.
Subaru is showing off the Forestar at the Tokyo Motor Shows beginning March 15.
