The Aokigi National Park is a spectacular place.
With more than 10 million hectares of protected land, it is considered one of the most pristine and unique areas of the world.
But despite being home to one of New Zealand’s most significant natural heritage areas, its not quite as pristine as it should be.
And it isn’t just because the Aogigahi is so large.
It’s also because the forest’s ecosystem is threatened by the introduction of invasive species.
